Who we are
icookmagic.com is run by Magic24x7 Happiness (OPC) Private Limited ("we"). CIN U10799MH2025OPC451652. Registered office: 2C/142 Windermere, off New Link Road, Andheri, Mumbai 400053. This page tells you what personal data we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Name, email and phone number you type into our forms (prebook, contribute a recipe, submit a product idea, partner application).
- Email address you give for our newsletter.
- Your cart and wishlist, stored only in your own browser. We do not receive these until you place an order.
- Website usage data (pages visited, device, approximate location) - only if you agree in our cookie banner; no analytics or advertising tag runs before you agree.
- Delivery address you give us for your order.
We do not ask for card, bank, UPI PIN or password details on this website.
Why we use it
- To take, pack, ship and support your order and prebooking.
- To reply to your messages and complaints.
- To send the newsletter you asked for (only if you opt in).
- To review recipes and ideas you send us.
- To keep tax and accounting records the law requires.
- To understand, in total, how the website is used and improve it.
We use your data only for these purposes.
Your consent and how to withdraw it
We ask for your consent with an unticked box or a clear button. We never pre-tick boxes. You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it: click "unsubscribe" in any email, or write to hello@icookmagic.com. Withdrawing does not affect what was lawfully done before, and we will stop processing within a reasonable time.
Who we share it with
We share only what each service needs to do its job for us:
- Razorpay - payments.
- Google (Google Analytics, Google Cloud hosting).
- Courier and shipping partners that deliver your order - name, phone, delivery address.
- Amazon - only for orders you place on Amazon.
- Before we use any online payment provider we will name it on this page.
- Government authorities when the law requires.
We do not sell your personal data.
Data outside India
Some of these services may store data outside India. We follow any restriction the Government of India notifies.
How long we keep it
We keep order and invoice records for as long as tax law requires. Other data is deleted when its purpose is over or when you withdraw consent. Records of processing are kept for at least one year as the DPDP Rules require. Newsletter and form data are deleted 3 years after your last contact with us, or earlier if you ask.
How we protect it
We use access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited staff access. If a personal data breach happens we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to: see a summary of your data and who we shared it with; correct or update it; erase it (unless the law makes us keep it); and nominate a person to act for you. Write to hello@icookmagic.com with your name and the phone or email you used with us. We reply within 30 days.
Children
If a child under 18 has given us data without a parent's verifiable consent, ask us at {EMAIL} and we will delete it. We do not track or target ads at children.
