Method — as easy as 2-minute noodles

  1. Saatvik version — no onion, no garlic; pure, gentle sattvic spicing (root vegetables are fine). A pinch of hing lifts it.
  2. Wash and soak the Dal mix for 10-15 minutes (optional but recommended)
  3. In a pressure cooker, add the soaked Dal Mix with the vegetables, garlic (skip — Saatvik), spinach, mint leaves, methi leaves, water, and the Magic Mixx.
  4. Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles, or until the mixture is fully cooked and soft. Let the pressure release naturally.
  5. Hand blend the contents to form a smooth and consistent mixture
  6. In a small fry pan add the ghee and chopped coriander, to make a flavourful tadka
  7. Drizzle the tadka over the dhansak and stir well
  8. Serve hot in an attractive bowl
  9. Optional : Make and add your own creative tadka with lots of love
  10. Tip: Adjust consistency to your liking by adding hot water.
