“Healing begins not with control, but with listening.”
Some dishes don't just feed you — they remind you of someone. Sambhar (our Comfort Bowl Sambhar) is one of them. And if you're someone who's forced to cook but loves to eat, it's as easy as 2-minute noodles.
Turns out, families across India have trusted Sambhar the same way for generations. Most people never stop to ask why it works. They just make it before they’ve decided anything else, and reach for it again after a long day. Then they make it again the next week, without thinking twice. It comes together from 8 real ingredients, and the truth is it’s real comfort, plate after plate. It’s also a genuinely stunning bit of chemistry — supporting digestion and nourishing an ordinary meal. You can try it this weekend instead of ordering in. Tag us when you do — we repost our favourites every week.

- Tip: Adjust consistency to your liking by adding hot water.
👩🍳 Chef's tip: Serve your sambhar hot with steamed rice or soft idlis, and a side of crispy papad for added crunch. You can also add a side of fresh coconut chutney for a complete meal!
