Make it — as easy as 2-minute noodles

⏱ 30 min  ·  🍽 serves 2  ·  🧑‍🍳 Forced to Cook (Easy)

You'll need: 1 pack of Yellow Dal Tadka · 300ml Water | 15g or 2 spoons Ghee | 20g or 2 spoons Chopped coriander

  1. Wash and soak the Dal for 10-15 minutes (optional but recommended)
  2. In a pressure cooker, add the Dal, Magic Mixx (from the packet), and water
  3. Pressure cook for 15 minutes or until 3 whistles
  4. Allow the cooker to cool and open it
  5. In a small fry pan add the ghee and chopped coriander, to make a flavourful tadka
  6. Drizzle the tadka over the dal and stir well
  7. Serve hot in an attractive bowl
  8. Optional : Make and add your own creative tadka with lots of love
  9. Tip: Adjust consistency to your liking by adding hot water

👩‍🍳 Chef's tip: Serve the dal hot with steamed rice or jeera rice. Garnish with extra chopped coriander and a squeeze of lemon for a tangy kick. Pair with papad, pickles, roti, or naan for a complete meal.
