Tahiri — as easy as 2-minute noodles

“The body is waiting to be heard.”

Some dishes don't just feed you — they remind you of someone. Tahiri (our Comfort Bowl Tahiri) is one of them. And if you're someone who's forced to cook but loves to eat, it's as easy as 2-minute noodles.

💭 Does this remind you of something? A kitchen, a person, a rainy evening, a first bite. Tell us your memory — we read every one.

Happy food is healthy food

We don't split the two. The taste and the goodness are the same thing. Happiness now. Illness never.

Make it — as easy as 2-minute noodles

⏱ 40 min  ·  🍽 serves 2  ·  🧑‍🍳 Forced to Cook (Easy)

You'll need: 1 pack of Tahiri · 330ml Water | 15g or 2 spoons oil | 20g or 2 spoons Chopped coriander | 30g Peas | 30g French Beans, chopped | 40g or less than half a Capsicum, diced evenly | 30g or 1 small Carrot, chopped

  1. Wash the basmati rice thoroughly and soak for 10-15 minutes (optional b ut recommended)
  2. In a pan, heat the oil. Add the vegetables and sauté for a minute.
  3. Add the soaked rice to the pan and lightly shallow fry the rice and vegetables for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the Magic Mix to the pan and stir well, coating the rice and vegetables evenly.
  5. Pour in 300 ml of boiling hot water, cover the pan with a lid, and reduce the heat to low.
  6. Let the tahiri steam cook on low heat for 10-12 minutes or until the rice is fully cooked and the water is absorbed.
  7. Once done, fluff the rice gently with a fork and garnish with chopped coriander if desired.

👩‍🍳 Chef's tip: Serve the Tahiri hot, accompanied by a side of cooling raita or cucumber salad to balance the flavors. For an extra touch of indulgence, garnish with toasted cashews for a rich, crunchy finish.
