👨🍳 Chef's Tips
Vegan version — dairy swapped for plant-based (ghee → oil, paneer → tofu, cream/curd → coconut/plant). | Serve pav bhaaji hot with butter pav and chopped onions. For an extra touch of indulgence, drizzle a little butter and lemon on top before serving .
🍴 Recipe
- Vegan version — dairy swapped for plant-based (ghee → oil, paneer → tofu, cream/curd → coconut/plant).
- Boil the tomatoes till soft, set aside to cool
- Boil all the vegetables in 300ml of water till the vegetables are cooked and soft
- Once cooled, mash the boiled vegetables in its water and set aside
- Peel the skin off the tomatoes and blend into a smooth puree
- In a pan, heat oil and the tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes
- Add 15g of the Magic Mixx masala and the boiled vegetables mash and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until cooked properly
- Garnish with chopped coriander
- Tip: Adjust consistency to your liking by adding hot water.
