🍽 Serving Tips
Serve Toor Dal in a shallow bowl with roti, dal, chaas or a small salad.
👨🍳 Chef's Tips
Serve the dal hot with steamed rice or jeera rice. Garnish with extra chopped coriander and a squeeze of lemon for a tangy kick. Pair with papad, pickles, roti, or naan for a complete meal.
🍴 Recipe
- Wash and soak the Dal for 10-15 minutes (optional but recommended)
- In a pressure cooker, add the Dal, 1 pouch of Magic Mixx (from the packet), and water
- Pressure cook for 15 minutes or until 3 whistles
- Allow the cooker to cool and open it
- In a small fry pan add the ghee and chopped coriander, to make a flavourful tadka
- Drizzle the tadka over the dal and stir well
- Serve hot in an attractive bowl
- Optional : Make and add your own creative tadka with lots of love
- Tip: Adjust consistency to your liking by adding hot water
